If you are experiencing sleep difficulties, talk with your primary care physician. He or she can help determine whether a referral to Wisconsin Sleep is appropriate.

Sleep Apnea

While we require a physician referral for most sleep concerns, you may make an appointment directly with Wisconsin Sleep if you think you may have sleep apnea.

To make an appointment to discuss your sleep apnea concerns, call (608) 232-3333, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Appointments

Most appointments with Wisconsin Sleep are arranged through a physician’s referral. Once we receive your physician’s referral, we may send you a sleep questionnaire to learn more about your specific sleep problems. Our schedulers will contact you within three business days of receiving the referral, or your completed questionnaire, to set up your appointment.

Clinic appointments will often last about an hour; sleep studies are scheduled either overnight or for an 8-10 hour period during the day.

Changing or Cancelling Appointments

If you need to cancel or change your appointment with a Wisconsin Sleep physician or for a sleep study, please call (608) 232-3333 as soon as possible. We ask for at least three days notice to cancel a sleep study appointment.

Billing and Insurance

The providers at Wisconsin Sleep are participating providers for Unity, Physicians Plus, GHC, Anthem/BCBS, Alliance, HealthEOS and others.

We strongly recommend, however, that you contact your health plan to ensure your Wisconsin Sleep services are covered and to determine if you have any referral/authorization requirements.
